Brazil World Cup: Super Eagles boost as Omeurou is fit

How Stephen Keshi received a major boost, as defender Kennethh Omeruo returned to full training with the rest of the Super Eagles squad at the Estadio Brinco De Ouro da Princesa in Campinas.

The Chelsea player has been out of action since Thursday, after he picked up a slight knock in training following a collision with Victor Moses.

Omeruo missed the last friendly match against the USA, while working with the physioptherapist to recover.

Stephen Keshi received a major boost, as defender Kennethh Omeruo returned to full training with the rest of the Super Eagles squad at the Estadio Brinco De Ouro da Princesa in Campinas.

The Chelsea player has been out of action since Thursday, after he picked up a slight knock in training following a collision with Victor Moses.

Omeruo missed the last friendly match against the USA, while working with the physioptherapist to recover.

However, he has made a full return to the fold and participated in the team’s first session on arrival in Brazil. Officials remain confident that he will be fit to start against Iran on June 16, alongside Godfrey Oboabona in the centre of defence.
